The first picture of the girl was filled with impurities, blemishes, scars, and eyebrow malfunctions. To improve her appearance, I first started with the healing brush and clone tool to insure that the skin was as smooth and impurity free as possible. Then, I used the burn tool to darker the pupils of her eyes, eyelashes, around the iris, and lash line ad brightened up and got rid of any redness in the whites of her eyes. Then, I used the clone tool to fill in the empty parts of her eyebrows to make them as identical and even as possible. Then I added highlights to the inner corner of the eyes, the bridge and tip of the nose, cheeks, under-eyes, cupids bow, bottom lip, and forehead. I changed the color of her eyes and added more shadows when needed. After, I adjusted the contrast, brightness, and the black&white tones of the final product.

BEFORE AFTER
In terms of editing, there wasn't too much to be done as the photo was pretty decent to begin with. Starting with the foreground, I increased the saturation of the shrubs on the rocks to make the hue appear more vibrant, increased the highlights and clarity of the rocks that were lighter in color to make them stand out, and increased the exposure of the darker rocks to make their appearance more noticeable. For the green mountains on the middle ground, I again increased the saturation and adjusted the temperature for a less dull, and vibrant appeal. I decreased the shadows and highlights drastically for a brighter and better look. And finally, I increased the saturation in the sky for a intensified blue color and decreased the contrast, saturation, and clarity.
